* Sorry No Puppies Are Available And No Litters Are Planned"
Lexi's Previous Litter
Lexi and her puppies were very lucky today to have our neighbors, who are also are friends, come to visit. Everyone enjoyed themselves. I printed pictures of the puppies for the kids to take to school for sharing time, they were so excited which made the puppies excited. What fun it was for all.
After our friends left it was time for supper and then the puppies fell asleep.
Today I decided to take 2 of the puppies outside at a time, so I could play more one on one with them. When I had a boy/girl pair outside they had a wonderful time running around playing and following me as I called to them. They get so excited when I repeat the words puppies puppies puppies and always run to me. At one point they had just gone down a slight hill, which wasn't "slight" for puppies, when I called to them. They came but it was hard work.
Then Russ and Lexi returned from a walk to join us and the most interesting thing happened. Lexi and her pups were so happy to see each other, you would think they hadn't seen each other in days. The pups followed Lexi around for a while, then Lexi went over the bank and brought up a stick, which she then laid down and started chewing. Within a short time each puppy went and found a small stick and picked it up and ran over to lay down next to Lexi. Russ and I were amazed. What they learn from their mother is amazing.

Russ thought he would read the paper tonight, but the puppy thought it would be more fun to chew on the paper. Oh well, there really wasn't anything he had to read anyway! Everything is a new experience when you are a 5 week old puppy. Life is good!

When the blender goes on the puppies line up--dinner must be on its way!
Could there be anything sweeter?

Let's All Get Into The Action

Our good friend Catherine from Destiny's Welsh Springers came to visit today. Lexi met her at the door with her tail wiggling and escorted her to the puppy box. After playing with the puppies inside we all went outside and watched the puppies play in their pen. What a fun afternoon we had.
Pictures we took today of the puppies

Let's all play with the rabbit, is one of their favorite games. As you can see they are an active bunch.

Today our friend Julie Talarski came over to visit Lexi and her puppies. Lexi was very pleased to see that she had a pocketful of treats just for her. Lexi couldn't stop wiggling with excitement when she saw Julie pull into the driveway.
Julie is the proud owner of Statesman's Crafty Admiral, better known as Skipper. It was odd to see Julie without Skipper with her. We will be getting together later this summer so Lexi and Skipper can play.

Today we had a family get together so the puppies got lots of loving from family members. As you can see the puppies like being held and fell asleep quickly. It's wonderful for puppies to be held by many different people and feel safe enough to fall asleep.
Tonight we introduced the puppies to a new toy. It is an Easter Bunny which dances and sings. The puppies were very interested in it and came over to investigate. We will continue to socialize the puppies by having them come into contact with new things and new noises. As you can see they showed no fear of the bunny at all. It was lots of fun to watch them.
It Won't Be Long And I'll Be Out Of This Box
Could There be Anything Sweeter
The Puppies Are 2 Weeks Old
The puppies are all so sweet, we enjoy just sitting and watching them. Even if they are just sleeping.
Every Day Is A New Adventure
Today our niece clipped the puppies nails for the first time. It's hard to believe they needed it already.
They Get Cuter Each Day

It may be raining outside, but inside things are happy and bright. Lexi has been showered with gifts from those who love her. When family members visited they brought a beautiful pot of tulips with 6 buds (one for Lexi and 5 for the puppies). Our good friends from Florida sent a snuggly soft blanket, which we used for the first time yesterday when the puppies took their first car ride. Thanks to all.
The Puppies Have Arrived
We are happy to report that Lexi's puppies have arrived and are being greatly loved by all members of our family. They are so precious and cuddly.
Lexi is a great Mom and takes care of their every need.
